hugepages software package provides A set of tools to configure huge pages of memory, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hugepages
hugepages is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hugepages package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hugepages *
You will get with hugepages package name, version, architecture and description in a table
